The Blessing Breast Center, in collaboration with the national nonprofit organization Living Beyond Breast Cancer, invites a select group of breast cancer patients and survivors to take part in a new, no-cost Survivorship Series. It is designed specifically for those diagnosed before the age of 45 to help them better manage the unique challenges often associated with their diagnosis.
The series is free and open to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer prior to age 45, regardless of their current age or where they received care. The four-part series will take place at the Blessing Resource Center (420 North 34th Street, Quincy) at 6 pm on the following dates, covering the following topics:
- Tuesday, June 30: “Hot and Bothered: Coping with Early Menopause”
- Thursday, July 23: “Stay Alert: Managing Long-Term Side Effects”
- Tuesday, August 25: “Let’s Talk About Sex and Breast Cancer”
-
Thursday, September 24: “Self-Care After Breast Cancer”
Registration is required as light refreshments will be served. Those unable to attend can view recorded sessions following each event.
