 lessing Hospital Cancer Center team in Quincy on Friday\, June 5\, to cele
 brate National Cancer Survivors Day 2026. The event will take place betwee
 n 1 - 3 pm in the parking lot at 11th and College Streets. There is no cos
 t to attend the event. Cancer survivors and their loved ones from across t
 he region – no matter where they were treated – are invited to attend.
 \n\nCome and enjoy the event where survivors can create a memory by painti
 ng a rock or a canvas bag. Along with snacks and refreshments\, renewing o
 ld friendships and making new ones\, the event will feature games and a ph
 oto opportunity.\n\n“There are more than 18 million cancer survivors acr
 oss the country” said Robert Johnson\, MD\, board-certified radiation on
 cologist and Blessing Cancer Center Medical Director. “Cancer Survivor D
 ay events provide a way for these exceptional people to connect with each 
 other\, celebrate milestones\, and recognize those who have supported them
 .”
