This screening will include a no-cost cholesterol screening, blood pressure reading, body composition screening and, for those who qualify, an A1C screening (Elevated fasting glucose or known history of diabetes or pre-diabetes.)

The screening takes place at Blessing Health Hannibal in the MJB Conference Room on Thursday, April 10. You can register for any available seat in the 15-minute time slots from 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.

Cholesterol screening requires a 12 hour fast for all participants and measures cholesterol, HDL, LDL triglycerides, and glucose levels. Please drink plenty of water and take any medications.

The American Heart Association recommends individuals 20 years of age or older have their cholesterol checked every 5 years; those with known risk need more frequent monitoring. Register online now or call 217-277-5000.
