Learn more about your numbers at the No-Cost Cholesterol Screening (measures cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose levels) on Thursday, February 20.
The screening takes place at the Blessing Hospital Auditorium, located at 11th & Broadway, Quincy. You can register for any available seat in the 15-minute time slots from 6:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled screening time. Those arriving early will be asked to wait until their scheduled appointment time. Those attending should plan for up to 30 minutes for their appointment.
The screening requires a 12 hour fast. Please drink plenty of water and take any medications.
The American Heart Association recommends individuals 20 years of age or older have their cholesterol checked every 5 years; those with known risk need more frequent monitoring. Register online now or call 877-411-2468.
