Learn more about your numbers at the No-Cost Cholesterol Screening (measures cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose levels)
The screening takes place at the Blessing Resouce Center (420 N 34th St, Quincy) on Wednesday, June 26. You can register for any available seat in the 15-minute time slots from 7:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m.
Cholesterol screening requires a 12 hour fast for all participants and measures cholesterol, HDL, LDL triglycerides, and glucose levels. Please drink plenty of water and take any medications.
The American Heart Association recommends individuals 20 years of age or older have their cholesterol checked every 5 years; those with known risk need more frequent monitoring. Register online now or call 877-411-2468.
